Great San Francisco Earthquake
On April 18th 1906, San Francisco was hit by a massive earthquake measuring 8.3 on the Richter scale. Three-quarters of the city was destroyed and 3,000 people lost their lives. This film tells the story of the greed, corruption and fatal mistakes that were made in the city’s reconstruction, which ensure that a repeat of the 1906 disaster is inevitable. However, there is hope: a team of scientists are now working on saving San Francisco from its terrible destiny.
